Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist tooling department creating and fixing dies and jigs
  • Set up and operate controlled machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
  • Carry out engineering level changes to tools and modifications
  • Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances using measuring instruments such as calipers, and micrometers
  • Maintain work center organization
  • Repair dies, jigs, gauges, and tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Multitasking with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions and work standards
  • Responsible for safe and efficient operation of machines and other related equipment to consistently drive efficiency and high-quality parts
  • Effectively meet minimum production standards
  • Follow all safety rules of the company
  • Bend, twist, reach, while standing during scheduled shift
  • Lift 50 lbs. continually throughout the workday

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Good attendance
  • Ability to work a consistent work schedule including overtime when needed
