Metal Stamping

Metal Stamping

Metal stamping (also known as pressing) is the process of placing flat sheet metal in either blank or coil form into a stamping press where a tool and die surface forms the metal into a net shape. Stamping includes a variety of sheet-metal forming manufacturing processes, such as punching using a machine press or stamping press, blanking, embossing, bending, flanging, and coining. Cedar Lake Metal Solutions can handle nearly any metal stamping job. Our capabilities are what set us apart from our competition. We specialize in offering high-quality metal stampings with coil sizes ranging from .005 inch up to .250 inch and widths up to 32 inches wide. We can manufacture bar stock up to 1 inch thick. By combining our metal stamping with our laser cutting, robotic welding, CNC machining, and other services we are efficient at producing a wide range of order sizes with speed and efficiency, while remaining within budget.
