Job duties of the punch press set up operator:

• Set up and operate a CNC press machine to manufacture metal parts according to blueprints and work orders
• Follow all departmental and company safety rules and procedures
• Receive instructions, material requirements, prints, routings, and work orders for the job
• Perform machine set-up, including tool assembly
• Install tooling into the press, secured by means of clamps, wedges, and bolts
• Check tool alignment prior to operation
• Perform routine maintenance
• Make adjustments to the machine to bring the part within tolerances
• Perform periodic part inspection per job instructions
• Perform first piece inspection using one or more of the following: a combination square, protractor, calipers, micrometers, or tape measure to assure bends, angles, and dimensions are correct and within given tolerances
• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition

Wage: $18 – 25/hr. Shift Differential

Hours:

• Day Shift 6 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Thursday
• Night Shift 4:30 pm – 3:00 am Monday – Thursday
• Weekend Shift Friday – Sunday 6:00 am- 6:30 pm
