Our expert designer takes the blueprint and starts designing the tool using state-of-the-art CAD technologies to build a precision part. Whenever possible, progressive die designs are used to save you money. Tom Paumen and Randy Wurm, Tool Room Supervisor work together to design and create new tools using some of the newest technology available.

Die plates are created using cost-saving CNC technology. These plates are created almost entirely electronically. If our created tool ever breaks or is used beyond its useful life or requires general maintenance or repair - we'll retool for free from our electronically archived tool die design.

Our facility is equipped with a wide variety of 30-ton to 500-ton presses in different sizes and configurations to produce the exact type of part you need. This capacity, diversity of machines and our expert press operators help keep our turnaround times short and cost low.

Cedar Lake Engineering has now added laser cutting capabilities. With the purchase of our state of the art 2000watt Mazak Laser with load system, prototype production and laser cut specific jobs are now able to be completed with ease and speed. This system uses a high-tech computerized part nesting system which allows for the most possible parts produced with the least material waste, reducing customer costs as well. Combined with our metal stamping, assemblies, welding, etc, Cedar Lake Engineering is the home for all metal manufacturing.

Parts are constantly being measured and checked down to the smallest detail for accuracy to the original design, and consistency from the first to last part produced. It is this dedication to detail that has earned us our recent ISO 9001:2008 certification. Nelson Hayes, Quality Manager, works with our production department to ensure that all parts meet our customer's requirements.

Once orders are complete we ship on an FOB basis. With our highly expierenced shipping staff and efficient equipment we are able to handle any size shipment with speed and accuracy.
